Day 4: Never Thought I Would Have This Problem

··176 words·1 min

I started having chills and a low-grade fever around 5 PM. I started researching to see if this was a known side effect of the Zepbound, or what was going on. As John and I read further, it became clear that I wasn’t eating enough. I had been logging my food, without really looking at any numbers other than protein intake. I assumed having this data set would come in handy, especially as I’m adjusting to the process. I looked at the amount of calories I had confused this week, and it broke down as follows:

  • Day 1: 805 calories
  • Day 2: 670 calories
  • Day 3: 1318 calories
  • Day 4: 1081 calories

I never thought I would be in a place where I needed to be conscious about eating more. I’ve been starving my body. 🤯

I’m meeting with a dietician who has experience with Zepbound-like products, but until then will make sure I’m getting 1500-1750 calories per day at a minimum.

Talk about a mind-fuck - going from over eating to just not being hungry.
