My home for the past ten years. These are places I actually go. The Space Needle and other things are very much worth the experience, but not something you find many locals doing.
Food #
-
Coffee: Monorail Espresso Their cold brew and espresso are my favorite in the city. There are a few locations, but I linked the one I frequent.
-
Drinks with a View: The Nest
-
Upscale: Lark Restaurant An upscale place to celebrate something.
-
Thai: MAY KITCHEN+BAR You get a ride on the WA State Ferry system and amazing thai food. You can’t beat it. The story has it that May retired to Vashon from Thailan and got bored in retirement and opened this restaurant. We’ve seen here there. She runs a tight ship with amazing food.
-
Pizza (Bainbridge): Bruicato The best neopolitain pizza in the area!
-
Coffee & Pastry (Bainbridge): Pegasus Coffee House If you’re out on Bainbridge, check out their coffee but more importantly their blueberry scone!
-
Italian Food: Il Nido Be sure to make a reservation!
-
Italian Food: La Rustica Get there right as they open or you’ll have a wait.
